Activities of the foundation

The Sandbox Foundation operates as a full-cycle incubator by developing programs, managing networks, and facilitating collaborations between youth, industry, and communities. Through these activities, the foundation enables real-world learning, problem-solving, and the co-creation of solutions that deliver both developmental and commercial value.

Innovation Lab Operations

The Innovation Lab is a flexible space for co-creation, prototyping, and experimentation, where businesses and youth collaborate on projects that range from localized solutions to global digital initiatives. Supported by partnerships with government and private entities, the lab adapts to meet the unique needs of each project and produces tangible results, such as prototypes, service models, and market-ready solutions.

The lab is supported through multi-stakeholder contributions, including partnerships with government initiatives like the Shared Service Facility (SSF) from DTI and private entities through Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs). This flexibility ensures that the Innovation Lab adapts to the needs of each unique project.
